Dr. Nichola O’Reilly deals in all areas of General Practice, with additional experience with Hormone Replacement Therapy and Thyroid issues.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 and came straight to a 40 + degree summer in Townsville. Originally, I only headed north for 1 year; now 21 years on, I haven’t left. 

In 2014, I was enticed to be the Practice Principal at Belgian Gardens Medical Centre, alongside Dr Fleming and the administration team of Chloe and Andrea.

I married in 1995 and have had 3 beautiful children, who have, fortunately, grown much taller than me.

I love the diversity of General Practice as no day is ever going to be the same and you never know what challenge you will be presented with next.

I arrived in Queensland in 1997 after completing my medical training at Trinity College, Dublin, and my General Practitioner training with the North East training scheme in Ireland.

I have worked in Far North Queensland and country Victoria, before settling in Townsville in 2002.

I have 3 amazing daughters who keep me very busy.

I love General Practice. The fact that we treat everyone in the family, the good old cradle-to-the-grave medicine, and the privilege it is to care for people.

I hope to continue here at Belgian Gardens Medical Centre, with our wonderful team, for many years to come.

Dr. Michelle Vollmerhause deals in all areas of General Practice and has additional qualifications in Family Planning and Mirena Insertions.

I was born and bred in North Queensland and completed all my schooling in Ingham. I moved to Brisbane in the 1990s and undertook my undergraduate degree in Applied Science Optometry before embarking on further studies to undertake the Graduate Medical Course at the University of Queensland. Completing my final clinical years in Townsville, I was awarded an MBBS in 2002.

I have completed the majority of my General Practice specialty training in Townsville, including rural service in Maryborough. In 2007, I obtained my Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I then settled into practice in Townsville over the last 13 years.

With a special interest in women’s health, I also worked part-time at Family Planning Townsville where I developed further skills in contraception services including Mirena and Implanon insertion and removal.

I enjoy all aspects of General Practice with a special interest in women’s and children’s health, Mirena Insertion and skin cancer treatment.

As an examiner of the RACGP, I have a special interest in continuing professional development including training General Practice Specialist Registrars and working for JCU in the General Medical Training program for general practice.

I am married and have two daughters.

I graduated from Monash University, Melbourne in 1989, becoming FRACGP in 1998. I have worked in a diverse range of General Practices in Melbourne, Devonport, Perth and most recently Airlie Beach for the last 9 years.

My wife and I have 3 school-aged children, all excited by the move to Townsville and the opportunities it will bring.

I have a broad range of experience in preventative health and chronic disease management in all age groups and both genders.

It is expected that I will continue to perform Aviation medicals for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority as I have for over 10 years.

I look forward to helping manage the health needs of you and your family at Belgian Gardens Medical Centre.

I graduated from Monash University in 1997 and completed my FRACGP in 2004. I spent several years working in rural and remote NT before moving to Queensland in 2015 for our two sons’ schooling. I enjoy all aspects of general practice with a special interest in women’s health including antenatal care. I also have a Certificate in Dermoscopy and enjoy skin cancer medicine.

Dr. Foreman (MBBS MPH&TM FACRRM General Practitioner and Rural Generalist) has extensive experience working in rural and remote Australia as well as international experience including positions in PNG, Laos and China.

Interests include chronic disease management and mental health issues with a special interest in the area of Lifestyle Medicine which includes prevention, management and treatment (including patient self-treatment) of a range of conditions that result from factors including poor diet/nutrition, physical inactivity, smoking, alcohol overconsumption, chronic stress/anxiety, lack of connection etc.

Dr. Foreman welcomes new patients and currently consults on Tuesdays.

All services are privately billed and Dr. Foreman has a strict policy of not prescribing opiates, benzodiazepines or other drugs with the potential of abuse/addiction.

I have been living in Townsville for more than 10 years now. I graduated from India. After that, almost all of my work and training experience has been in Townsville. I became Fellow in 2019.

 I really like the diversity of experience that General Practice provides including Chronic disease management, Preventive health care, Women’s health, Children’s Health, and Indigenous health.

Dr Michelle White completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at James Cook University, Townsville in 2005 and has practiced medicine extensively in rural, remote and regional areas throughout the South Pacific, NSW and QLD. Dr Michelle is a highly skilled Skin Health Doctor and Specialist GP with two decades of experience in medicine.
Born in Papua New Guinea, Dr. White grew up in both PNG and Australia and understood from an early age how diversity in culture, lifestyle, skin, and food effects our health.
Dr. White connects deeply with helping people achieve optimal Health and Wellness. She co-creates a lifestyle script with you so you are heard, understood and included in all decision-making around your Health and Well being.

Dr Elizabeth grew up in Townsville and attained her medical degree at James Cook University in 2005. She travelled around the world working in different medical specialties in the UK and USA for a decade before settling back in Townsville in 2014 with her four children. She has completed her GP training and has extra training in Skin Cancer Medicine and Family Planning.
With a background in many specialties, she has a keen interest in preventative health, paediatrics, geriatrics and dermatology. She is also qualified in cosmetic injecting and minor surgical procedures such as skin cancers, contraceptive procedures, tongue and lip ties as well as infant male circumcision.
Other notes to include are that she is an Independent Medical Practitioner, accepts new patients, and is private billing only.

I graduated from James Cook University in 2019 and am currently undergoing my General Practitioner training with RACGP in Townsville.
I have lived in Townsville for the past 15 years and before that, I grew up in Myanmar.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of general medicine. My interests include Paediatrics, Women’s health, and Mental health. I also have a passion for minor procedures including implanon insertion/removal, cryotherapy, toenail wedge resections, skin excisions and iron infusions.
