Here at Belgian Gardens Medical Centre, we have a designated Aviation Medical Examiner.

Before you make an appointment with Dr Carr, it is a requirement that you have paid your Medical Certificate Application processing fee through the CASA website. If you have not paid this, we are unable to open your file and complete your Application.

When you arrive for your appointment with Belgian Gardens Medical Centre , the Nurse will begin your assessment. This will take roughly 30 minutes. Then you finalise your Medical with Dr Carr, which takes approximately 45 minutes.

IMPORTANT – Please bring your glasses AND standby glasses (2nd pair) if you require these for flying. It is very important to have both pairs through this assessment.

Also bring any recent test reports, for example, ophthalmology or hearing reports, and blood tests.

Our Practice Fee for an Aviation Medical is $220 including GST.
